Awesome #mahjong league 1 – Session 2 INFO.

THIS SESSION : JULY 16 – DON’T FORGET.

The new seed has been established. Group C has one pair of players seeing each other again. Lists were generated pseudo-randomly as before. I also took into account the preferred session, the only people who have crossed over are people who said they were really OK with switching to either (me, eirei, and xKime… osamu and XshinjiX are at the same as last time). I also have to talk to Trantez if he wants in on a more regular basis or if I have to hire a stunt double from the crowd.

  2. Perhaps a coincidence, but it seems that some losers have already thrown in the towel.

Bad losers don’t stand temporary setbacks. It’s a matter of ego. They want so much to view themselves as unconditional winners, they cannot stand any form of defeat. Therefore, they tend to get discouraged more quickly and they drop out more often than the average player. Because of this quitting habit, they don’t take the opportunity to learn from their mistakes. They train themselves to lose. It’s a vicious cycle.

  3. There won’t be 24 players even on the list next time around. I’m taking the weekend to figure out how I’m going to proceed on this.

  4. First session will remain having 3 groups, the latter two, planned for five, but may or may not be run with 4 depending on the absentee list.

Hasu and levvy are cut. I should have run this as a cumulative eliminator over time. That will be the format from the start for Season 2.
